Samuel B. Akande is the founding chairman of SBA Research Limited. He was educated at University of Exeter,
England, where he read Economics. He subsequently became a Study Fellow at the University of Oxford, England.
As a professional, he was a Permanent Secretary (Internal Affairs) and Special Duties Advisor under the General Gowon
and Obasanjo administrations in Nigeria.
He is currently the Audit Chairman of P.Z Industries PLC and also a Director of Pioneer Metal Products Limited.

Segun is a founding Director of SBA Research Limited. He trained as a stockbroker at Dominion Trust Limited,
Nigeria, and subsequently worked as a Research Analyst at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs.
Segun was instrumental in driving the entry of SBA into the UK financial business information market, developing the
distribution channels to date and building up client relations.
Segun was appointed as SBA’s Managing Director in October 2005. He was educated at London Guildhall University where he
obtained his Bachelors and Masters Degree in politics and Modern History.
Tolu Osinibi B.Sc. CPFA Non-Executive Director

Tolu is a Chartered Accountant by profession, with extensive experience in the Financial Services Industry.
His career experience includes KPMG London, where he was an auditor in the assurance group and also had a stint as an Information
Risk Management Consultant in KPMG’s financial services consulting unit. He also worked with JP Morgan London, where he was
the CFO for the EMEA Structured Products & Derivatives Marketing business before returning to Nigeria in 2005. He has served as
the head of operations of Shell Nigeria Closed Pension Fund Administrator Ltd. He now currently works in KPMG.
Tolu was educated at University of St. Andrews, Scotland where he obtained his Bachelors Degree in Economics.
Femi Akande Non-Executive Director

Femi Akande was the founding Managing Director of SBA Research. He trained as a lawyer and worked at
Field Fisher Waterhouse Solicitors, London, and he is also the author of ‘Global Securities Trading: Implication for
Developing Countries’. Femi resigned as Managing Director of SBA Research in 2005 in order to focus on developing the
West African regional capital market via the West African Capital Market School.
Femi was educated at the University of London where he obtained his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Law.
