[2007-12-03] FNB launches FirstPlus campaign
First National Bank of Botswana (FNBB) has launched FirstPlus Campaign, a campaign to bring an innovative array of products and services to its customers, the bank has announced.
The focus of the campaign will be to cross-sell different single products as a unified package.
The tailor-made packages will offer customers the right mix of value added services or financial solutions, thus making FNB customers multi-product customers.
"This cohesive collaborative effort is meant to encourage cross-selling activities and strengthen the relationship between FNBB and its clients, thus defending the bank's key customer segment," says a statement from the bank.
"It will also enable both new and existing customers to bank effectively, thereby facilitating effective financial management and enabling access to a greater array of FirstPlus account offerings from FNBB.
"With the launch of FirstPlus our customer's will be provided with appropriate innovative solutions," said FNBB CEO Danny Zandamela.
"This approach gives the bank a modern and dynamic brand-positioning platform targeting individual customers.
"The bank has opened doors of efficient banking to its customers, launching a banking experience to encourage multi-product, banking.
"The bank recognises the need for solutions that cater for specific segments and we are proud to be offering a service tailored to the customer's needs.
"The campaign is aimed at helping our customers become multi-product FNB customers by introducing them to products that address their needs and make banking a memorable convenient value adding experience."
FirstPlus campaign is one of a number of campaigns that the bank is looking at to address increasing customer needs in a changing environment in order to build enduring relationships with customers.
"With this unique offering, FirstPlus is a shining example of how we can help serve our customers better. Therefore the FirstPlus Campaign declares that "all of our products and services at FNBB are a first, and we are going to keep giving you more and more," said Zandamela.
The integrated campaign will still maintain separate product identity and personality, though focusing on the cross-selling of the different single products as a unified package.
In addition to selling the product or service sought by a customer, the purpose of the campaign will also be to offer other value added features and products from other product houses and retail branches.
Under FirsPlus, FNBB is offering products such as FirstCardPlus (FirstCard), e-Plus (Electronic Banking), MortgagePlus (HomeLoans), ChequePlus (Cheque Accounts),
SavingsPlus (Savings Accounts), and Wheels Plus (WesBank).
