[2008-04-29] Accra bourse opens week on positive note The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, the benchmark indicator of performance of the bourse, opened the week on a brighter note with a jump of 13.64 points. The Index closed on Monday at 9,108.82 points from 9,095.18 points on Friday.
Change for the year to date now stands at 38.02 per cent. Traded volumes closed the session at 346,100 shares.
On the broader market there were four positive price changes. Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG) led the pack of gainers with GH¢ 0.04 to close atGH¢ 2.95, TOTAL Petroleum Ghana Limited (TOTAL) was GH¢ 0.02 richer at GH¢ 5.59 while CAL Bank Limited (CAL) and Fan Milk limited (FML) gained GH¢ 0.01 each to close trading at GH¢ 0.62 and GH¢ 3.16, respectively.
Market capitalisation closed the trading session higher at GH¢ 14,746.96 million.
