[2008-07-23]  BRVM trade report
The BRVM closed its fixing session on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, slightly higher than the previous one. The BRVM Composite index rose to 2.38%, climbing from 236.11 to 241.73 points. The BRVM 10 index closed at 277.23 points up 2.84%. The value of the transactions was 8.02bn CFA francs, compared to the 469.15mn CFA francs reported last Session. The number of securities traded climbed to 92,641. Stock market capitalization was 4,524,612,056,910 CFA francs while that of the bond market rose to 524,461,768,727 CFA francs. On the bond market, 15 bonds were traded for a total value of 136,668 CFA francs excluding accrued coupons.
