The BRVM closed its trade session on Friday, September 5th, 2008, slightly lower than the previous one. The BRVM Composite index lost 1,59 %, dropping 241,71 to 237,86 points. The BRVM 10 index closed at 265,72 points. The value of the transactions was 2,71bn CFA francs, compared to the 658.29mn CFA francs reported last session. The number of securities traded climbed to 497,207. Stock market capitalization was 4,524,097,838,180 CFA francs while that for the bond market rose to 512,065,498,018 CFA francs. On the bond market, 175,000 bonds ETAT TOGO 6.50% 2006-2011 were traded for a total value of 1,75bn CFA francs excluding accrued coupons.
