The BRVM closed its fixing session on Thursday, September 4th, 2008, slightly lower than the previous one. The BRVM Composite index lost 0,77 %, dropping 243,581 to 241,71 points The BRVM 10 index closed at 270,72 points. The value of the transactions was 658.29mn CFA francs, compared to the 213.53mn CFA francs reported last session. The number of securities traded climbed to 347,966. Stock market capitalization was 4,524,312,002,260 CFA francs. That for the bond market rose to 512,065,498,018 CFA francs. On the bond market, 68 bonds CELTEL BF 7.15% 2003-2009 were traded for a total value of 680,000 CFA francs exluding counting accrued coupons.
