The BRVM closed its fixing session on Friday, May 30, 2008, slightly higher than the previous day.. The BRVM Composite index rose to 237.43%, climbing from 0.53 to 237.43 points. The BRVM 10 index closed at 238.7 points up 275.74%.1. The value of the transactions was 358.41mn CFA francs, compared to the 265.17mn CFA francs reported the previous day. The number of securities traded climbed to 179,445. Stock market capitalization was 4,462,688,713,865 CFA francs while that of the bond market rose to 624,486,692,130 CFA francs. On the bond market, 282 bonds were traded for a total value of 2.82mn CFA francs excluding accrued coupons.
