[2008-07-30]  BRVM trades 107,253 shares on Tuesday
The BRVM closed its trading session on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, slightly higher than the previous one. The BRVM Composite index rose to 1.76%, climbing from 236.3 to 240.45 points. The BRVM 10 index closed at 274.07 points up 1.81%. The value of the transactions was 102.15mn CFA francs, compared to the 83.97mn CFA francs reported last session. The number of securities traded climbed to 107,253. Stock market capitalization was 4,500,590,192,145 CFA francs while that of the bond market rose to 513,320,142,000 CFA francs. On the bond market, 15 TPCI 6.50% 2006-2009 bonds were traded for a total value of 150,000 CFA francs excluding accrued coupons.
