The BRVM closed its fixing session on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, slightly higher than the previous day. The BRVM Composite index rose to 0.22%, climbing from 232.83 to 233.34 points. The BRVM 10 index closed at 268.85 points up 0.34%.1. The value of the transactions was 509.46mn CFA francs, compared to the 69.96mn CFA francs reported last Session. The number of securities traded climbed to 24,498. Stock market capitalization was 4,362,491,476,985 CFA francs. That for the bond market rose to 639,486,692,130 CFA francs. On the bond market, 638 bonds were traded for a total value of 6.32mn CFA francs excluding accrued coupons.
