The BRVM closed its trade’s session on Thursday, October 2, 2008, slightly higher than the previous one. The BRVM Composite index rose to 0.005%, climbing from 219.07 to 219.08 points. T he BRVM 10 index closed at 240.59 points as previously. The value of the transactions was 196.04mn CFA francs, compared to the 356.7mn CFA francs reported last Session. The number of securities traded climbed to 135,146. Stock market capitalization was 4,100,606,383,625 CFA francs while that of the bond market rose to 512,070,670,000 CFA francs. On the bond market, 36 bonds were traded for a total value of 360,000 CFA francs excluding accrued coupons.
