The BRVM closed its trading session on Thursday, June 26, 2008, slightly higher than the previous day. The BRVM Composite index rose to 0.45%, climbing from 237.03 to 238.09 points. The BRVM 10 index closed at 275.45 points up 0.45%. The value of the transactions was 245.4mn CFA francs, compared to the 1.07bn CFA francs reported last session.. The number of securities traded climbed to 691,992. Stock market capitalization was 4,451,389,673,920 CFA francs while that of the bond market rose to 622,212,552,040 CFA francs. On the bond market, 25 bonds were traded for a total value of 250,000 CFA francs excluding accrued coupons.
