[2008-08-29]  BRVM trade report
The BRVM closed its fixing session on Friday, 29th August 2008, slightly higher than the previous one. The BRVM Composite index rose to 0.06%, climbing from 241.24 to 241.39 points. The BRVM 10 index closed at 2270.62 points up 0.32%. The value of the transactions was 233.99mn CFA francs, compared to the 284.41mn CFA francs reported last session. The number of securities traded climbed to 106,531. Stock market capitalization was 4,518,168,634,835 CFA francs while that of the bond market rose to 512,065,498,018 CFA francs. On the bond market, 50 bonds CAA BENIN 6% 2007-2012 were traded for a total value of 500,000 CFA francs excluding accrued coupons.
