The BRVM closed its trade session on Monday, 4th August 2008, slightly higher than the previous one. The BRVM Composite index rose to 0.30%, climbing from 245.93 to 246.68 points. The BRVM 10 index closed at 281.81 points up 0.20%. The value of the transactions was 222.67mn CFA francs, compared to the 156.63mn CFA francs reported last session.. The number of securities traded climbed to 169,257. Stock market capitalization was 4,617,271,258,010 CFA francs while that of the bond market rose to 513,314,970,018 CFA francs. On the bond market, 10,205 bonds were traded for a total value of 101,98mn CFA francs excluding accrued coupons
