[2008-06-11]  BRVM trade report
The BRVM closed its fixing session on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, slightly lower than the previous one. The BRVM Composite index lost 0.70%, dropping from 238.64 to 236.96 points. The BRVM 10 index closed at 275.34 points down 0.87%. The value of the transactions was 847.52mn CFA francs, compared to the 187.2mn CFA francs reported the previous day. The number of securities traded climbed to 145,974. Stock market capitalization was 4,430,217,864,735 CFA francs while that of the bond market rose to 621,189,532,670 CFA francs. On the bond market, 1,749 bonds were traded for a total value of 17.49mn CFA francs excluding accrued coupons.
