The BRVM closed its tradin session on Thursday, July 3, 2008, slightly higher than the previous day. The BRVM Composite index rose to 0.18%, climbing from 230.13 to 230.54 points. The BRVM 10 index closed at 264.79 points up 0.18%. The value of the transactions was 399.93mn CFA francs, compared to the 310.6mn CFA francs reported last Session. The number of securities traded climbed to 152,181. Stock market capitalization was 4,315,189,725,530 CFA francs while that of the bond market rose to 619,356,411,950 CFA francs. On the bond market, 10,551 bonds were traded for a total value of 105.51mn CFA francs excluding accrued coupons.
