[2008-07-25]  BRVM trade report
The BRVM closed its trading session on Friday, July 25, 2008, slightly lower than the previous one. The BRVM Composite index lost 0.38%, dropping from 237.42 to 236.52 points. The BRVM 10 index closed at 269.63 points down 0.49%. The value of the transactions was 88.31mn CFA francs, compared to the 277.31mn CFA francs reported last session. The number of securities traded climbed to 330,690. Stock market capitalization was 4,427,113,413,925 CFA francs while that for the bond market rose to 513,320,142,000 CFA francs. On the bond market, 1,563 bonds were traded for a total value of 15.63mn CFA francs excluding accrued coupons.
