[2008-08-12]  The BRVM Composite index lost 0,53 %
The BRVM closed its fixing session on Friday, August 11th, 2008, slightly lower than the previous one. The BRVM Composite index lost 0,53 %, dropping 243,568to 242,39 points The BRVM 10 index closed at 277,56 points. The value of the transactions was 252.96mn CFA francs, compared to the 216.98mn CFA francs reported last session. Trading involved 19 of the 38 companies listed on the stock exchange. The number of securities traded climbed to 39,523. Stock market capitalization was 4,537,007,346,795 CFA francs while that of the bond market rose to 513,315,498,018 CFA francs.
