[2007-08-08]  Export market a must for Iran’s economic growth: minister
The managing director of the Export Development Bank of Iran (EDBI) here Tuesday pointed to the export market as an approach to the predicted eight percent economic growth in the country.

Tahmasb Mazaheri added that the Central Asia, Africa, the neighboring countries, and some South American countries are Iran’s main target markets.

He said that supplying financial resources and allotting credit to the customers and sellers are necessary for export.

Announcing the target markets’ lack of an independent banking system, he said, “We will design a mechanism to return the financial resources to the country.”
