[2008-06-19] Williamson Tea of Kenya Post Full-Year Loss as Output DeclinesWilliamson Tea Kenya Ltd., a producer and exporter of the leaf, reported a full-year loss after a drought curbed production and global tea prices declined. The company had a net loss of 97.5 million shillings ($1.52 million) in the 12 months through Dec. 31, compared with a profit of 142.8 million shillings a year earlier, according to a statement published today by the Nairobi-based company in the Daily Nation newspaper.
