Barclays Bank has given a Sh1.2 million in support for children with special needs.
The grant to Nakeel Primary School in Ongata Rongai is part of its efforts to support the improvement of education standards. Chief Finance Officer, Charles Ongwae, said the bank was committed to supporting community-based projects in the areas where it does business. "Giving back to the community is a core pillar of our business strategy,’’ said Ongwae. He said the bank would continue to support important projects including environment conservation
