[2008-09-26]  Oando, Big Treat strike partnership deal
Oando Plc, one of the leading brands in oil marketing services and Big Treat, also a visible brand in the fast foods restaurant sub sector have entered into partnership arrangement. The deal was concretised with the inauguration of Big Treat outlet at Oando Awolowo 2 Service Station in Lagos. In her opening address, the Chief Operating Officer of Oando marketing Limited, Mrs.Lara Banjoko, underscored the reason while Oando decided to enter into partnership arrangement Big Treat. She said that the desire of the company to continue to provide high level services to its teeming costumers was responsible for the partnership deal. Banjoko said that with the opening of the Big Treat outlet at Oando filling stations would afford its numerous customers the opportunity to treat themselves with the different delicacies offered by quick service restaurant. Speaking with our correspondent, the Head, Corporate Communication, Oando, Mr. Meka Olowola said, “Big Treat possesses a demonstrable high level of commitment which will always attract the attention of any company with vision.” And because they can relate with us on the level of aggressive marketing, which is our hallmark, we find them a reliable ally.” Managing Director, Big Treat, Ms.Pamela Wu, also gave an insight into the deal, saying that it would not only enable the two companies to serve their customers better, but also, an arrangement that would be beneficial to both parties. She added that, since the two companies who were striking business deal were strong brands in the market, their coming to together would help to change the face of business in Nigeria.
