[2007-07-05] Saudi H1 share trades fall 52%
The total value of Saudi shares traded in H1 2007 fell 52% to $396.89bn compared with H1 2006, Arab News reported, citing a Saudi Stock Exchange report. Market capitalisation at the end of June had fallen 43.5% to $296.7bn. The Tadawul All-Share Index, the worst performer in the Gulf, has lost more than 12% this year. Meanwhile, most Gulf stock markets gained on Tuesday. Dubai shares were up 1.41%, Abu Dhabi 1.54%, Saudi 0.6%, Doha 1.65%. Kuwait shares lost 0.3%.
